Reactor Temperature will alert you if the temperature inside the reactor vessel has reached a level that is considered dangerous to the system. This is marked red as it is considered an extreme hazard indicator, and is deemed more important to attend to.

Annunciators

All three annunciator panels mounted to a box on their corresponding desks.

Annunciator Panels are sets of lights and alarms to alert an operator or monitor that something needs attention. In this case, the JKRF control room features several annunciator panels to provide an alert on systems around the Reactor that need attention. Due to their simplicity and low power need, they are very reliable if the computer systems are to fail or the power is to go out as they would be linked to an external power source.

There are currently three panels in the control room that provide information based on their categories.

  • Power Systems/Linking
  • Reactor Vessel Pressure/Regulators/Electrical Power Generation
  • Control Rods and Temperature

Power Systems & Linking

Pslannunciator

There are four indicator lights on this panel. They are the following:

Power Output, EPS Grid, Emergency Generators, and Discharge Links

Power Output alerts you if the reactor is running but no power is being pushed to the primary power relays.

EPS Grid alerts you if there is a fault in one of the EPS Junctions found around the facility.

Emergency Generators alerts you if there is a problem with the emergency backup generators (not used).

Discharge Links alerts you if there is a fault, or the discharge links are inoperable not allowing unsafe levels of energy to leave the primary relays or junctions.

Pressure, Regulators, Power Generation

DLeqEMp

There are ten indicator lights on this panel. They are the following:

Pressure Valves 1-4, Reactor Pressure, Automatic Pressure Systems, Turbine Regulators, Turbines 1-3, and Condensers

Pressure Valves 1-4 alert you if there is something blocking pressure from venting from any of the 4 valves accordingly.

Reactor Pressure alerts you if the pressure level inside the reactor vessel itself has reached a level that is considered hazardous. This is marked yellow as it is a hazard indicator, and is deemed more important to attend to.

Automatic Pressure Systems alerts you if there is a problem with the automatic venting and moderation of the pressure inside the Reactor Vessel. This ties in with the most common reason for a Reactor Pressure alert, automatic control being off and no manual regulation being done.

Turbines 1-3 will alert you if any of the three turbines are not operable.

Condensers will alert if you if the condenser systems are not operable.

Control Rods/Temperature

Crtannunciator

There are four indicator lights on this panel. They are the following:

Control Rod Sets 1-3, and Reactor Temperature

Control Rod Sets 1-3 will alert you if any of the three sets of control rods have any form of fault.

Reactor Temperature will alert you if the temperature inside the reactor vessel has reached a level that is considered dangerous to the system. This is marked red as it is considered an extreme hazard indicator, and is deemed more important to attend to.
